So first of all, you all must not have done your homework and said your no rain prayers. It is quite muddy out there this morning, but no standing water in the foundation so that is good.
We also found out this morning from the concrete guys that, no they are not going to pour the foundation today because they have so much to set up and then get inspected before pouring. Hmmm might have been nice if they mentioned this earlier. So the first of many setbacks has occurred. May the rest be as small. Now we really need some prayers for no rain, because we really don't want the foundation to fill up with water that we then have to pump out. We'll keep you posted. Now, on your knees and start those prayers! :)

first of all, who is posting before five A. M.? Crazy. Hang in there. With construction there are always minor setbacks because of the variety of variables. Don't let them get to you. Just think, it could never be as bad as the Big dig in Boston.

It wasn't really 4:50AM...I think it was more like 6:50. I like the Big dig comparison, it definitely puts things into perspective. I have some pic of the forms that are in place. I will probably wait to post them until the concrete is poured.
