I had been planning to write this earlier in the week. I had heard the big D's were doing something with lights so I asked Miked if the lights came on or something because I wanted to know if there was something I needed to take photos of for the blog. He said no, but on our walk with Claren around the block, Mom and I saw these awesome lights. Miked: as humble as he is talented.
These are the breezeway lights.
This is the front light. Isn't it perfect? Oh, and what's that yellow sign? So glad you asked ...
The floor guys came back and sanded and put the first coat of stuff on the floors.
Aren't they even cooler?
And full of ashy awesomeness?
I really want to run through, drop to my knees and slide all over the floor.
It is almost like a basketball floor and the trash can is the basket.
We also got all the cabinets and doors delivered. Can you guess where our cabinets come from?
It is a lot of cabinets!
They are all stored in the garage awaiting master craftsman Miked. They are working on trim and crown molding and other stuff now.
Finally, have you ever heard of a more manly color than Old Pickup Blue? Me either. But I am going with the blue on the right, not Old Pickup Blue on the left. The little D's agreed it was too light and Emily said it was the color of a nursery. The blue on the right better have a cool manly name, like Arctic Freeze Blue or Freakin' Stud Blue.

Blue on right is "Tranquil Blue"
