Just make sure they put a dropcloth ...

Unfortunately, I could not find a video of  the "Schticks and Stones" medley by the great Allan Sherman from which I borrowed the title. The lyrics went:
Oh when the paint'ners
Go marching in

Just make sure they put a dropcloth
When the paint'ners go marching in
We did, however, hire a painter for the outside of the house.

Cousin Danny, with whom I burned many a toy soldier, is signed up to paint.

  1. For the fifth-grade talent show, Brendan and his friend Seamus performed a little skit to Hello Mudda. They did that thing where Bren's arm's were Seamus's legs and it looked like Seamus was a midget standing on a table. Very amusing.

  3. Fifth grade? Yikes! And no he protects us from zombies.

    I had Ballad of Harry Lewis in my head, but I dispute that the songs are irritating. Irritatingly awesome, maybe..
