I'm Baaaaaack

Ok ok enough with the why aren't you blogging comments!  Don't you people know I am mother of 2 and my husband, brother and I are building a house?  ;)

Here is what's been going on:
Garage trim going up during one of the blizzards
  Detail of trim
Siding going up on one of the gables
More trim and siding (and Eddie I think)
The returns going into the basement
Basement door and window

Random house shot with guy on top--
I have no idea who he is or what's going on
Miked emptying stuff out of the dumpster that
random people have thrown in.  We are using a
recycleable dumpster service and have to pay for
things that can't be recycyled.
Our signs newly planted after the blizzard
Thing 2 in his new room
Thing 1 and Thing 2 in their new bathroom
Thing 1 in her new room
Our current big project--wiring
Chimney going up--with our period appropriate brick ;)
The Rumford Fireplace from the inside
Close up of fireplace
The big honking mechanical unit for the  HVAC Water Furnace Synergy System
Plumbing waste lines are in as well--we will be
running the supply lines after the wiring is finished
Chimney Detail
It's a really tall chimney!
Siding on garage--it's completed now
Trim detail on the bump out

Front of house
The water crock has been set
The gas line has been run
The geothermal wells are to be dug next week
More house and siding...Eddie is putting a small piece of metal roof up where the gable comes back in
Pete!  Thank God for Pete who knows how to drill and
measure (as opposed to me).  He came to help Miked last
weekend and they got soooo much done!  Steve also
came to help, but alas was not captured on film, so you will
have to come back Steve!

So as you can see a great deal has been done in the house.  The guys are back tomorrow after a rain delay to continue work on the metal roofs.  I love the way the rain will sound on them!  Woo Hoo!  Miked has been working like a dog both at his day job and then after coming home at his other non paying electrician's job.  The weather for the next 4 days or so is supposed to be amazing so that always makes things look brighter.  Oh and by the way someone is turning 40 on Friday and it's certainly not me.  ;)
